Blessings this Week: 07.14.2017

My flowers are blooming and I'm choosing to ignore the weeds... because it's more important to focus on blessings than on to-do lists and conflicts and issues. And usually, I'm really good and finding the conflicts and issues. Finding blessings takes practice.

We had a wonderful weekend that began with celebrating the birthday of our soon-to-be cousin and visiting with extended family, enjoying good food and games together before the mosquitoes came out!

...   ...   ...

Then we celebrated Christmas with my side of the family (more pictures and details here)- so much fun

...   ...   ...

My parents, one of my sisters, and my little nephew stayed with us through the weekend- and we had a good time playing Go Fish and Slap Jack, and recreating old family photos from my childhood (my nephew's idea!)

...   ...   ...

Power lines full of barn swallows

...   ...   ...

Just yesterday, driving into the shop driveway, we saw these triplets out for a romp around camp

...   ...   ...

And of course, we're grateful for the 23rd week carrying this little one, and all the kicks and jabs being doled out this week. We had quick doctor's appointment this week, as well, and baby is growing and healthy- praise God! I also heard from my hormone testing this week, and they reduced my progesterone dosage again- now I'm only taking one shot a week-- such a blessing!

Have a wonderful week- count the blessings!

  1. Wonderful blessings, especially the last two - healthy baby and reduction of the shots! Of course, your flowers, fawns, family and birds are marvelous blessings as well.
