Blessings This Week: 11.06.2015 Edition

This week has really just flown right by.

It's in those quick weeks, the busy ones, when I need to count my blessings as a way to stop, to see this day and this moment. Because otherwise, those blessed moments will just pass me by.

These floors, those knee pads, those gloves, and the feeling of being almost done

Trevor was working in the basement and I on the first floor when I heard, "Hey! Isn't this cute?" and then saw a tiny mason jar being lifted up through a hole in the floor.

There are large deer tracks all around the cabin where we're staying. This one was next to our car.

This big pile of dirt (and accompanying hole), that means that one more thing is checked off the "to-do" list.

THIS WEEK

Like I said, it's been a busy week! Between getting things done at the acreage (I can't wait to show you everything!!), and a lot going on at work, I feel like I haven't had much time to really breathe this week.

I did get a little blogging in... here's what I've put up on this little corner of the internet, in case you missed it:

I had the honor of joining a "launch team" for my friend Natasha's book release- and my goodness, I'm so glad I joined! This book is seriously amazing- 25 Bible stories (one for each night leading up to Christmas), with a comprehensive overall theme of God's story of redemption. It's just beautiful. Yes, I'm a bit behind in writing about our hardwood floor refinishing project... but if you're planning on torturing yourself, er... taking on the rewarding task of refinishing your floors, this post is for you. Hopefully the things I've learned will help someone else out there!

Have a wonderful week! It's almost Thanksgiving! Keep counting your blessings!
