A visit from my sister and sitting out on the dock

This sister who is so much like me... right down to the nostrils and the unquenchable urge to take terrible pictures on other people's cameras. Apple doesn't fall far, I suppose.

Doing some touristy stuff in the area

Lazy-day Saturdays with eggs-over-easy

Breaking ground

So many of my blessings come from having the opportunity to work with this guy I love... like after work golf cart rides (to lock up the shop... but still).

Scarf weather!

In case you missed it... here's what's been going on around the blog this week--

In which I have no shame and show off pictures of my completely torn up house. You're welcome.

Thriving in Survival Mode

Those crazy-busy times don't have to beat us down and make us lose our intentionality (or our minds)! We can thrive, even in survival mode.

And...

This week I've not only been working on our house remodel, but also working on remodeling this little corner of the internet! It's all very exciting.

After next week, this little blog will have a new address, a new name, and a new look-- I'm planning on rolling out all those changes on September 7-- so be prepared for that! I'm excited for the newest chapter in the adventure!

If you want some sneak peeks of what I'm working on, "like" the blog's Facebook page- I'll be putting up screenshots of projects as I work on them!

Have a wonderful weekend, friends. We live such a blessed life!

  1. Congrats on all your projects in progress, Ally!! I love how God uses the things going on on the outside to help us understand what's going on in the inside. I'm also reworking my blog onto a self-hosted one with a new name. I can't wait to get it up and running! Blessings on everything that is to come for you :)

    1. I just have so many pretty scarves! =) They don't really go with my "camp t-shirt every day" summer uniform!
